Keith initially contacted us about creating an engagement ring for Paige via email. He began, “Normally I am in the business of word vomiting and giving a lengthy prelude to my stories, but I will get to the point…” What followed was the first of many lengthy emails from Keith over the next couple of months. Keith was working in Hong Kong at the time and wanted to make sure the distance wouldn’t hinder the custom jewelry process. Keith detailed everything from Paige’s likes and dislikes to her “…pale complexion with an abundance of beautiful long dark hair.” He even shared pictures of cartoons the two drew for one another. We got a great sense of her style, but what really came through was Keith’s love for Paige. He wanted to give her “something outside of the standard store front showcases.”
