Cory wanted to create an engagement ring for Andrea using a light blue weathered topaz that he found in a Texas riverbed. He had the stone cut at a lapidary and brought in the 3.20ct gem. Diagonally set in yellow gold, Cory’s find is the centerpiece of Andrea’s engagement ring. Hand engraving on the sides of the bezel and band bring this ring together.
Topaz is the Texas State Gemstone. It occurs naturally in many colors including blue, orange, brown, green, pink, beige and red.
